Painful Pimples Solutions
One of the worst things that can happen to a teenager is a
painful pimple and acne. Although it is
common on teenagers, painful pimples can be found on any
adult. Generally, painful pimples are caused by hormonal
imbalances, which upset the oil and moisture level of the
skin. Face skin is especially affected as it has more
sensitive skin pores and electrochemical processes compared to
other parts of the body. Due to these imbalances of the
hormonal and moisture levels of your skin, the skin pores can
get clogged and become infected with bacteria that is usually
found on the skin. Under normal circumstances, these
bacteria are harmless, but having them infect clogged up skin
pores can lead to serious infections of pimples. In
actuality, the pimple is not the infection itself; but rather
the aftermath of the body, which fights off the infection and
deposits body matter and dead bacteria. Since the skin
pores are clogged, it’s impossible for the pus that is
deposited in the pores (pus is comprised of dead skin cells,
dead bacteria, iron compounds, bodily matter etc) to get out of
your skin. Thus, it becomes red and swollen as the area
in which where it is found becomes inflamed. This is a
painful process to under go and painful pimples can be both
annoying and painful. In addition, painful pimples can
lead to scarring, if they are not handled properly.
However, there are painful pimples solutions that are
available, but they all take patience and perseverance to
work.
The first step in a solution to painful pimples comes from
personal hygiene. The biggest problem of painful pimples
is that that they can be prone to secondary infections due to
the pus inside the pimple. The pus can get infected as it
becomes in contact with other bacteria that are found in dirt,
mud and grease. The secondary infections can also spread
more quickly creating a huge pimple outbreak in your face,
which can be painful and dangerous. Thus washing your
face three times a day with antibacterial soap can help greatly
at least in preventing secondary infections of your
pimples. In addition, using lots of mild skin cleansers
to wash off the oily film that surrounds your skin can aid in
opening up your pores so that the skin can breathe easier and
so that you can allow your pimples to be healed by natural
processes also. As the area around the pimple can get
inflamed as the body’s natural defense mechanism (the immune
system) fights of the infections and the foreign substance that
has invaded your body.
The second step also includes not using any cosmetics in
your face until the painful pimple problem is cleared up.
Using oily based cosmetics can clog up your skim pores more so
that it worsens the situation. In addition, your face may
become more sensitive during a pimple outbreak so that using
cosmetics may prove allergic to you also.
Then as a third step, you must drink lots of water so that
your body can be aided in its natural fight against painful
pimples. Drinking lots of water will help greatly, in
such a way that it can help restore the moisture balance in
your skin. Also drinking lots of water will help with the
biochemical processes that will help restore the balance to
your body. In addition, you should not eat greasy food or
fast food of any kind and you should keep away from chocolate
until the painful pimple outbreak is under control.
Usually good dieting with lots of vegetables and liquids can
help speed up the process.
The solution to painful pimples requires patience as you
must allow the body’s natural mechanism to take care of the
pimples. Washing your face with antibiotic soap, dieting,
and not using cosmetics can be enough from pimple
recovery. However, you should never touch the pimple or
try to break it open as this can cause the pus to break open
and infect the other areas of your skin so that new and fresh
pimples are formed. This can worsen the situation much
more. You should be patient, you should adhere to the
suggestions stated above, and you should be clear of a
painful pimple in couple of days. If it
becomes persistent, than a visit to your dermatologist becomes
in order.
